Constructing a Graphic Narrative – Presented by HASS

September 10 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

A workshop on showing and telling your story! From graphic novels to video games, visual storytelling is a large part of our interaction with the world today. Join critically-acclaimed graphic novelist R Alan Brooks for a workshop on constructing graphic narratives that will enrich your communication skills. You’ll leave with the foundations for outlining a narrative in a visual medium, and the basics for how to expand your project later.

R Alan Brooks is a writer, professor, musician and host of the “MotherF**ker In A Cape” podcast. He is currently a Professor of Graphic Novel Writing for Regis University’s Creative Writing MFA and made Westword’s 2019 list of “Ten Must-Read Colorado Authors.”
