Second-Year Housing Information Sessions
January 15 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
It’s time for current first-year students to start thinking about housing for their second year at Mines! The housing application for 1750 Jackson Street Apartments (Mines’ only on-campus community exclusive to second-year students) opens at 10:00AM on February 3 and closes at 11:59PM on February 5! Prior to the application opening, the Department of Residence Life is hosting information sessions to ensure that students know their options!
- Monday, January 13 at 5:30PM Mountain Time
- Tuesday, January 14 at 5:30PM Mountain Time
- Wednesday, January 15 at 5:30PM Mountain Time
Each info session is an hour long, and all sessions will share the same content. Sessions are hosted via Zoom, and the link can be found on the Second-Year Housing webpage. Feel free to invite parents, family members, support systems—anyone who might be helping you in your decisions about housing for next year!
These information sessions will share details about all things related to your housing options for your second year at Mines:
- 1750 Jackson Street Apartments
- Environmental Justice Signature Learning Community
- How/when to apply for second-year housing
- Information about The Village at Mines Park
- Resources for finding off-campus housing
Students in attendance at the info sessions will have the opportunity to enter their name into our raffle to win a guaranteed spot in 1750 Jackson for themselves and up to 3 friends (1 apartment)!
1 entry per student in attendance; 1 winner per info session. The winner must be present to accept.
Can’t attend? No worries! A recording of one of the information sessions will be posted to the Second-Year Housing webpage after the last information session next week!
