Come marvel at a beautiful and imaginative exhibition in the Library January 27th – February 7th and join us for a series of special events!
Check out the McBride Honors Program’s exhibition: “Smoky Mirrors & Lucid Clouds” Intersections of Art & Technology! Marvel at the exhibition pieces in the Library’s Boettcher Room and join us for the following special events:Painting Night – “Dreamy & Dystopian Horizons” – Friday, 1/31, 6:00-9:00pm
The library closes at 6:00pm, but we’ll just be getting started with an evening of creative painting guided by Mines student and artiste extraordinaire, Catherine Gable!

Poetry Night – “Threading the Sky: Poetic Reflections” – Tuesday, 2/4, 5:00-7:30pm
Curious about how art, technology, science, clouds, and reflections can find themselves all tangled up in a poetic embrace? Join us for an evening of poetry creation and contemplation guided poet-professor, Toni Lefton!
No previous experience or love of poetry necessary.

Games Night – “From Unstable Unicorns to Terraforming Mars” – Thursday, 2/6, 4:00-7:00pm
Need a little fun in your life? Join us and our games master, Lincoln Carr, for Games Night! We will have a variety of games available including:
Unstable Unicorns
Exploding Kittens
Terraforming Mars
Small World
Bring your own, play a game you love, or learn a new one!

~Snacks, drinks, and materials will be provided for all of these special events.
