VIP Professional Development Communications Series – Professional Business Communication

April 20, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join the VIP Professional Development Program for a series of workshops to develop communication skills essential for success while transitioning into an internship or first professional position. Attend two or more sessions to be entered in a drawing for prizes.

How do I create standout emails that actually elicit responses? What should I do after an informal networking session? This workshop offers best practices for written professional correspondence, from emailing supervisors to following up after interviews. We’ll review a six step protocol for effective emails, and then roll up our sleeves for some hands-on practice.
