The 2022 Undergraduate Research Symposium takes place today, Monday, April 18th, 2022 and Tuesday, April 19th, 2022. All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to join us in celebrating our hardworking undergraduate researchers and their dedicated mentors! Some events require RSVP while others are open to the public. The complete schedule is as follows:
Monday, April 18th:
– Oral Presentations – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Monday, April 18th, 10am-12pm in Green Center 2nd Floor.
– Keynote Address – RSVP NEEDED AT URL INCLUDED: Monday, April 18th, 4pm-5pm in Student Center, Ballrooms D & E. “Reimagining Undergraduate Research for a Post-Pandemic World” by Dr. Jenny Shanahan, Asst. Provost for High-Impact Practices at Bridgewater State University.
Tuesday, April 19th:
– Poster Presentations – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Tuesday, April 19th, 10am-12pm in Green Center, Friedhoff Hall.
– Mentor Workshop – RSVP NEEDED AT URL INCLUDED: Tuesday, April 19th, 12pm-1:30pm in Green Center, Second Floor, Room 200C. “Centering Equity and Inclusion in Undergraduate Research Mentoring” facilitated by Jenny Olin Shanahan, PhD. Lunch will be served.
