Mines Research and Technology Office and Earth and Society Programs are co-hosting this event, which will kick off with a welcome from Dr. Michael Kaufman, Director of Materials & Energy Initiative, RTT, followed by a keynote from Professor Holly Buck, an environmental sociologist who helped the Department of Energy craft their community benefits programs. The remainder of the event will be an interactive, informal reception to learn about research strengths and collaboration opportunities from faculty in Economics and Business; Engineering, Design, and Society; and Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. We hope you’ll join us to catch up with old friends and meet future collaborators!
