High voltage transmission lines are fast interconnecting power systems across countries and also continents. World Bank has been financing many of these links in the developing world. In this presentation, I will talk about how cost-benefit analysis of cross-border interconnection projects are conducted by the Bank.

Deb Chattopadhyay leads the power system planning group at the World Bank since 2014. He had previously worked for Charles River Associates and Deloitte in Australia.
