All sessions will be hosted via Zoom; links can be found on the Second-Year Housing webpage. These information sessions will share details about the 1750 Jackson community and the Environmental Justice SLC in Maple Hall, how to apply for second-year housing, information about Mines Park, and resources for finding off-campus housing.

Students in attendance will have the opportunity to enter their name to win a guaranteed spot in 1750 Jackson for themselves and up to 3 friends (1 apartment)! 1 entry per student in attendance; 1 winner per info session. Winner must be present to accept.

SECOND-YEAR HOUSING FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025:
Current first-year students are encouraged to apply for housing at 1750 Jackson St. Apartments—our sophomore-only apartment-style community! 1750 Jackson is one of our newest communities on campus, having just opened in Fall 2020. The community offers private studios, 2-bedroom units (2 double occupancy rooms in each), and 3-bedroom units (2 single occupancy rooms and 1 double occupancy rooms in each).

Applications to 1750 Jackson for the 2023-2024 academic year are selected through a lottery process. They are NOT selected on a first-come, first-served basis and will continue to be selected on a rolling acceptance schedule. Please note that 1750 Jackson St. Apartments offers a 9-month contract. Students living in 1750 Jackson will not be able to reside there over the summer; however, the building remains open for Winter Break.

There will also be limited housing available in Maple Hall for second-year students who are selected for our newest (and only sophomore-focused) Signature Learning Community: the Environmental Justice Community! Applications to Maple Hall are contingent upon completed application and selection into the Environmental Justice SLC.

The sophomore housing applications open in the Housing Portal on February 1st at 10:00AM and close at 11:59PM on February 4th.
