The Village at Mines Park – Upper-Division Student Housing
Calling all juniors and seniors! The Village at Mines Park housing application will open March 3 – 10, and we want YOU to apply! Reduce your commute to campus and take the headache out of finding parking—live on campus at The Village at Mines Park!
The Village at Mines Park is an on-campus apartment community serving juniors, seniors, graduate students, and students with families (spouses, children, dependents). The community is located just west of the main campus, next to the Mines Early Childhood Center: take a 15-minute walk or a quick ride on the OreCart Shuttle to get to your classes and research!
In 2024, nineteen existing buildings at Mines Park were fully renovated and updated! These units now offer new flooring, fixtures, and furniture in 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units. Coming this fall, 5 brand new apartment buildings will open, offering 650+ new beds in fully furnished studios, 2-bedroom, and 4-bedroom apartments! With new study lounges, outdoor green spaces, a cafe, and fitness center—you don’t want to miss out!
The housing application will be available in the Residence Life Housing Portal (linked in your my.mines.edu account) from March 3 through March 10. Applications are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Offers will be made via lottery, based on availability, and on a rolling basis through the month of March. New residents are offered 10-month contracts (August 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026) with the opportunity to renew for 12 additional months (June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027). Rent rates are all-inclusive and cover gas, electric, water, laundry, internet, and trash removal.
