Classroom Equity & Inclusion Learning Community

The classroom equity and inclusion learning community is a space for instructors to engage in dialogue and learn about equity in the classroom, share experiences, learn from one another and learn from experts.

The learning community is open to the Mines community, however, content and topics are designed with academic faculty and graduate teaching assistants in mind.

During this meeting, join a conversation with Derek Morgan, Dean of Students on:

• student code of conduct, how/when to bring issues to student life and understanding their process
• tips on how to have difficult yet educational conversations 1:1 with students who committed a bias
• tips on how to support students impacted by an incident of bias
