The Helping Others Series acknowledges that some people are “natural helpers,” who their friends, family, and classmates turn to when they are looking for support and/or advice. While many of us embrace this role and genuinely want to be helpful to others, it can sometimes be overwhelming. This series focuses on the importance of setting and maintaining effective boundaries as well as how to protect oneself from the emotional exhaustion that can come with being the “helper.” This series will occur in person on Thursdays in the Student Wellness Center #204.
