Society of Women in Physics General Meeting

Society of Women in Physics is a student organization supporting gender diversity within the physics department. SWiP meetings cover topics such as conversations towards gender equity, social events within the department, and aiding members to participate in physics-related conferences. Each meeting is open to anyone in the Mines student body (no requirement for being a physics major or being a woman) and is hosted by current physics students. Meeting times regularly occur on the last Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with dinner being served.
